Drawing Notes:
Leo, at the age of 14, created this original drawing for a competition. It is a picture of a tricycle or three wheel bike with two wheels in the back (or right side of the page) and the front wheel connected to the handlebars for steering.
Starting at the top is the handlebars. Follow the left side down the page and you come to the front wheel with the foot-petal depicted towards the right. When you go back to the top and follow the page down in the middle you come to the seat. Follow the main bar to the right and the rear wheel is drawn.

The penny-farthing, also known as a high wheel, high wheeler or ordinary, is an early type of bicycle. It was popular in the 1870s and 1880s, with its large front wheel providing high speeds.

Drawing Notes:
The scooter is facing to the right of the page. The handlebars start high and slope down to the left towards the seat. In front of the seat is the area left for your legs. The rear fender covers part of the rear wheel for your protection. The front wheel is exposed but has a large fender covering it from 9 to 2.
