The hummingbird is facing to the right and slightly downwards as it prepares to hover over a flower.
Fun Facts:
Hummingbirds are the only birds that can fly in any direction, including backwards and sideways. They can even hover in mid-air, beating their wings up to 80 times per second.
The smallest is the 2.0 in (5 cm) bee hummingbird, which weighs less than 0.07 oz (2.0 g), and the largest is the 9.1 in (23 cm) giant hummingbird, weighing 0.63–0.85 oz (18–24 grams).

Fun Facts:
Pileated Woodpeckers are mainly black with a red crest, and have a white line down the sides of the throat. They show white on the wings in flight. Adult males have a red line from the bill to the throat; in adult females these are black. It is one of the largest woodpeckers in the world, with a wingspan of up to 29.5 inches.
