Drawing Notes:
This is a piece of three layer cake with the icing facing away from you. It has a smooth top icing with just a small decorative ring around the edge. This could be a rainbow cake with each layer a different color or my favorite when the top and bottom layers are chocolate and center layer is vanilla ice cream.

This is Rich’s favorite cake—marble with alternating layers of chocolate and vanilla cake. The luscious icing is drawn in the first row. Imagine having a piece of cake on a plate with the icing edge (top of the cake) facing away from you.

Although the ice cream cone became popular during the 1904 World’s Fair, it was invented by an ice cream seller in New York in 1896.

This reminds me of the lollipops we got as kids. Notice the smiley face.
This is a large lollypop made of sugar. It has a smiley face in the center. It reminds us of the type you would get at the carnival or the fair.
