Drawing Notes:
This is a drawing of three different size hearts. Each one is drawn with a bold heavy line. You can draw many variations of this design by just not including one of the hearts. Once you have drawn this layout, call the largest heart 1, the middle heart 2 and the smallest heart 3. You can now make a drawing of each one alone on a page. You can draw 1 and 2 as is, or if you are adventuresses, fill in the empty space between them and make a solid, wide heart. Now draw 1 and 3. Again, by filling in the space you would have another wider heart. You can draw all three and fill in between 1 and 2 and make 3 solid, giving yet another different look. SIS – should I continue or actually draw a bunch of variations?

Marie’s drawing notes:
This series of hearts interposed upon one another takes 30 spaces across, 23 lines down. It is frilly and delicate looking – a fancy heart for Valentines Day. The design is simple, but the lines are not easy to follow and take a bit of finger dexterity to identify. Spacing is important so that the hearts fit neatly into one another.
