Drawing Notes:

The Koi is swimming up the page with his face pointing to the right. His body is pointed down to the left of the drawing with the long fancy tail spreading out to the right.

As you go down the page, the solid spots at the top represent the eyes. The pectoral fins which are located on each side of the fish, just behind the gills, flair out to both sides. The dorsal fin, located on the back of the fish, is shown on the left side of our fish. One of the pelvic fins is shown on the left side as a solid fin. As the bottom of the body twists to the right, the tail fin is split into three separate parts.

Fun Facts:

There are over 100 types of Koi fish. With the distinct shape of the tail, I believe our drawing represents a butterfly koi the best.

Drawing Notes:

This is a representation of any frog you are familiar with. The frog is sitting at a diagonal on the page from bottom left to top right. Our little guy could be sitting on a leaf (or the ground) and has his legs spread out.

Fun Fact:

Although all frogs have four fingers in the front limbs and five toes in the back, our drawing only has room for three. One group of frogs has webbed feet. Another type of frog has padded toes that act as suction cups.

Finally, there are frogs that have fingers only with bone claws at the tip.

The bass is facing left with his tail pointed downward as if just finishing a powerful push. Notice how spiked the front (left) dorsal fin is compared to the second. His open mouth is as large as his body which makes this a large mouth bass.
