Drawing Notes:
The sheep is standing and facing to the left. The way his chest and belly stick out slightly indicates he has a full growth of wool at this time. I filled in the entire body to indicate the roughness of the wool.
Fun Facts:
There are many types of wool sheep and each one produces a different quality of wool that is used in different parts of the wool industry.
The Merino sheep have long been known to have the finest and softest wool of all the sheep breeds.
The Lincoln sheep breed is the largest of sheep breeds and it also boasts the longest, heaviest and most lustrous fleece of all sheep breeds in the world.
Our sheep is modeled after the Suffolk Sheep which are mainly white in color with black faces and large muscular bodies. The wool does not reach over the neck and they do not have horns.
