End design.

Drawing Notes:

There are three sizes of the PI symbol on this page, the small is 4 rows by 6 cells, the medium is 7 rows by 11 cells and the large is 10 rows by 17 cells.

Fun Facts:

PI is the mathematical symbol for the number 3.14159 (never ending) that is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter.

PI is the sixteenth letter of the Greek alphabet, and in the system of Greek numerals it has a value of 80.

Drawing Notes:

This is a representation of the QR Code that directs people to the “All Patterns Page” on the sixdotsart.com web site. It is a basic square code block with a square registry mark in both upper corners and the bottom left corner. These registry marks align with the markers on the camera before taking the picture.

Each dot represents a square pixel in a picture. The true layout would not have the spaces between rows and cells. I ignored these spaces as I drew the picture because I wanted a dot to represent each and every pixel.

The QR code is 33 pixels wide and 33 pixels tall for a total of 1,089 pixels. If only 1 pixel needs moved to make a new code, how many codes are possible?

The drawing is 12 rows by 17 cells and contains 204 cells, eight of which are spaces. Within the remaining 196 cells, there are five dot combinations not used on this drawing. Can you figure out which ones are missing?

The missing dot combinations are: H [125], Q [12345], T [2345], THE [2346], ST [34].
