Drawing Notes:
Our train is heading to the right of the page. It is a big brute with three sets of wheel trucks and a long steam vessel in the front. The steam from the front pipe is bending backwards to indicate the train is in motion.
Fun Fact:
In the 1800s, the Mallard achieved a speed of 136 miles per hour.

Drawing Notes:
The train is running the tracks from right to left. The front stack is large because steam expands as it hits the air and cools. The second item on the engine is the bell that rings at crossings. The cab has a slanted front window and room for two people. The light on front is round and mounted on the front of a large barrel to hold the water to make the steam. The three small wheels are to hold all this weight as water is heavy. The two large wheels are the drive wheels for this engine.

Drawing Notes:
This train has an engine, a flatcar, and a boxcar. To connect this train together, start by cutting the paper between row 6 and row 7. Cut it again between row 12 and row 13. You should have 3 strips of paper with the wheels of the train as the last row on each one.
Overlap the colon from the first cell of the flatcar with the colon at the end of the engine and the cars are connected. Repeat this with the colon in the first cell of the boxcar to the last colon of the flatcar and you have a complete train.
Modification notes:
The boxcar was modified to let the door reach the bottom of the car. Then the engine and the flatcar were each made one cell longer to match the wheel base length of the boxcar.
