Drawing Notes:
Starting at the top, we have three bedrooms, with the master bedroom on the left. Notice it is the largest. This room has an extension as you proceed down the page which could have also been a small bathroom or a large closet. In the middle is the smallest bedroom because of the closets on the left side which used floor space. Two of the closets open to the master bedroom for a his and hers combination. The bedroom on the right is the same as the master except the extension became the closet.

Drawing Notes:
This is a top view of standard concrete blocks. Rows 1 and 2 create 3 blocks. Rows 4 and 5 create two full blocks and two half blocks. This is the way a block wall would be staggered when building a wall. Row 3 would be the mortar joint between rows of blocks, the same as Block Wall01 and Block Wall02.
Rows 8, 9 and 10 create one row of blocks. They are just drawn starting with dot 2 and not dot 1. Rows 11, 12 and 13 are the next row. Notice that no row was left blank this time for mortar as there is plenty of space between these rows of blocks.
Rows 15, 16 and 17 create one row of blocks. They are drawn starting with dot 3 and not dot 1. Rows 18, 19 and 20 are the last row.

Drawing Notes:
A standard building brick is 3 -5/8” high by 7-5/8” long as seen from the side. Approximately twice as long as tall. This does not include the mortar joint allowance. Our drawings are 2-1/2 times as long as tall, this is close. I call these brick walls due to the layout, one brick laid centered over the mortar joint between the two bricks below. With the rounded edges, this is more like a concrete block or cut stone. See Brick Wall 04 for a more standard square-cornered brick.
